Everything You've Always Wanted to Know About Church....and felt too Guilty to ask!

I like to quote thinkers of all ages & times because while the trends and manner of clothing & hairstyles change it seems like human behavior doesn't for the most part.
"If you do not stand for something....you will fall for anything!"
Trust me. A mind that is an open vacuum is a magnet for trouble.
Cult leaders,scammers, sociopaths seek out "empty" minds to fill
with their hate.
You don't have to WAIT for heaven; you can make "heaven on Earth" everyday in many many ways by good decisions.
We have taken what is simple, pure and profound & distorted the
message. "Religious people" giving "man-made" iinterpretations and rules rather than from God....we have a good show on the outside but are spiritually dead on the inside.It is the most personal relationship you will EVER have. It is between YOU and God, NO strings attached...unconditional love. It took 1,500 years to compile the "Guidebook"...33 years to have it role modeled for us clearly
and a lifespan to learn the lessons for ourselves.
PRAYER: The simpler the better. God does not YELL over the constant din of society. "Be still....and Know I am God"! He gave us "free choice" when He could have easily programmed us. He does NOT expect PERFECTION but He does require people willing to work at it. It is NOT "easy"; never meant to be. It does NOT guarantee you freedom from pain but it DOES gives you the strength and courage to cope and over-come.
GRACE: Unconditional Love whether it is deserved or not!
FAITH: Believing in something you cannot see or touch but KNOW
it is TRUTH.
WORSHIP: Telling God "Thank You" in a Church building, in a
sunlit meadow, on a Mountain top, a quiet lake, while driving to work, holding a baby, kissing your husband or yes, even in the shower by singing or verbally.
Religion from the "inside" out...from your heart & soul. It cannot
be faked.
THE CHURCH BUILDING: (1) Being together (fellowship) with
like-minded people (2) He is "Magnified" in a Church building and the "Focus" for worship, coping skills,and study. I feel it strengthens like a battery charger for the week
THE PASTOR/MINISTER: The teacher. They have studied the Holy Bible thoroughly and are able to clearly pass the principles and messages to the Congregation..the "spiritual leader". Yes, it is wonderful if they have good leadership, integrity and speaking skills that will convey such important lessons but we must never forget they are like us in needing those same lessons & principles.
ATTENDANCE: Whether it is Christmas and Easter or every Sunday rain or shine....it is always about the intent in your heart.
You are not forced to go...it is an important decision to do so.
Christ did not tolerate "Hypocrisy" either from the Pharisees OR us today in 2014!
PARABLES: (moral stories/examples) Jesus taught by EXAMPLE and by Parables. The examples of his behavior was clear and pure but parables can be open to misinterpretation as to what the actual message from Him was.(and, we do that a lot)
COMMUNION: The juice represents Blood He
shed for us with the brutality of His Crucifixion. The bread or wafer
is His BODY that was scourged for us; His 33 years He spent with us on Earth for the untold millions of people before and all the way up to 2014 and beyond. The "Body" also is known as His
home on Earth; the Church.
