ARE YOU AFRAID of the DARK?!
Simply Said: "CHILDREN ARE AFRAID OF THE DARK
It is NOT just the material bomb itself...We MUST destroy our
"Arsenal" of Relational Nuclear Weapons" such as (1)Condemning
(2)Belittling (3)Hating (4)Labeling (5)Insulting (6) Condescending
and (7) Sarcasm. We can walk arm-in-arm without seeing "eye-to-eye" on every issue.
The Globalization of the world through Technology was what we wanted.
So...we GOT IT. We now know instantly what is going on daily ALL over the world! Our Newspapers are now like "Tabloids" we used to be ashamed to admit we read. The "Media Mafia" (new term I heard) gives us what WE ASK FOR! Salacious themes make MUCH more money & ups the "ratings" of those putting money BEFORE Ethical concerns.These are all simply desire for a different kind of POWER than a bomb.
ALL Faith's when they admit to the need for reforms(Humility)have usually done so. The acts of Polygamy with the early Mormons have now been decried as doctrine...in mine, Protestants had the Reformation....
When we deal with 5th century doctrines and we have long since passed that type of thinking...it becomes difficult for reason to prevail.
Modern day Muslims are incredibly anguished as to what has happened to their Faith but FEAR is a devastating weapon in itself. I feel that until Muslims themselves rise up & say this is NOT what we are about will it be effectively contained.
P.S. Fellow Christians: We CAN BE "EASY" TARGETS because of the very beliefs we hold but especially this Holy Week we need to remind ourselves that Christ Himself got outraged at the wrongs
that were being perpetrated at Passover. Yes, as Christians that actually try to follow the tenants
of our Faith with love there comes a time to stop "turning the other cheek" and also affirm the strength it also holds. When Christ over turned the money-changers tables at Passover...He was MAD!! He was decisive!
On Good Friday,( yesterday) Romans used the "nails" of PRIDE,BETRAYAL,ENVY,INDECISION,CRUELTY & HATRED in their
fear of losing power to "make it all go away!" It HASN'T.(my Good Friday service April 3,2015)

On a country that was literally built on the HUNGER for free thinking to
choose our OWN beliefs...or NONE at all...if we choose that...I have been totally spoiled by America. I NEVER in my wildest dreams(nightmares) EVER thought America would come to this...We have become a "Kindergarten" of pointing fingers and temper tantrums! The God I believe in is TOO BIG for any ONE Denomination and always will be for me. I have spent 74 years of life's challenges and experiences good and bad. I have grown from a very needy and frightened child to overcoming ALL the obstacles I would face in life to grow.
Would someone PLEASE remind the world that in a Nuclear War there ARE NO WINNERS!!!?
