Pride and Embarrassment; youthful gullibility & the physical facts above.
We have become a nation of "voyeurs"; I'm afraid. We want to raise our heroes up and then delight in their fall...we want to watch "reality" shows to make ourselves feel better about NOT being stupid like they are! We are still in
the "Coliseum of Rome" with "dispensable" gladiators getting our "jollies" through others pain. Young people "worship" Khardasians when they should be admiring the supposedly "average" person that day in and day out actually helps OTHERS and is not Self-Focused. When do we say ENOUGH? Mrs.B.
