"America's Got God Talent Show?"
Birge-Bytes There is a song called "looking for love in all the wrong places......" Guess what? WE LOOK FOR GOD IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES/WAYS!
O.K., my little "snowflakes", as Lewis Black would say. Listen up!
GRACE is accepting love and giving love even though it is not deserved.
FAITH is NOT seeing or touching but still KNOWING and FEELING it is real and all around you. We are looking in the wrong places for Faith and Belief to PROVE it to us by Earth's Standards.
We want to see Him on "America's Got God Talent Show" where he performs tricks that amaze and thrill us....where 3 "judges" can decide if
He is good enough for US!
We want to see Him on a "Talk Show" debating His worth and arguing what WE think is right from wrong based on our "vast expertise" in life.
We want him to appear with psychedelic strobe lights....raised like Lady GaGa on an elevated pedestal to our applause and screaming worship.
Maybe if He appeared on a "Kardashian Reality Show" ( which is about as far from reality as you can get) and discusses "Kardashian Experiences the Lord" (instead of New York???)
He DOES APPEAR TO US EVERY SECOND OF OUR DAY:
1. When a baby lets out that first breath of life outside the protection of
the Mother. I SAW my first Grandsons FIRST breath on Earth and THAT IS A MIRACLE,FOLKS!!!
2. When a rosebud unfolds to full bloom....
3. When you can hear the soft raindrops come down to cool and clean the Earth or the soft rustle of trees from the very breath of Christ.
4. When, in a very rare quiet moment, we are aware of "feeling words
in our mind" that we need and asked help with and IT FITS PERFECTLY FOR OUR SOLUTION.
5. Maybe, if he He had a SuperBowl or WorldSeries Ring He would command respect and awe just to touch it?If He made millions of pieces of "green paper" for bashing in heads? Would that do it for you?
Our world is too NOISY to hear God
Our world is too BUSY to stop and feel God
Like a great teacher, He is NOT going to YELL AT US FOR OUR ATTENTION! A great teacher NEVER has to.
My God is priceless and owns the Universe and still finds the time to
love US!
