WHERE DO ANIMAL SOULS GO?...

I am writing this as raindrops fall outside my window matching the falling tears on my cheek...It is April 6th, Good Friday at 1:23 p.m. on a cloudy day.
At 1:00p.m. Jerry and I left our beloved pet friend "Forrest" to be gently
put down by the Doctor. He was almost 20 years old and had survived much of what life throws at humans,also. He had an inoperable stomach tumor but thankfully in no apparent discomfort yet.
Is there a "good time"? NO
Does Intellect help "let go"? NO
IS THERE A TIME? YES
There IS a time where it would be selfish to prolong...desperate to keep..
for YOU to have that love and presence at the expense of a soul that is ready.
So, we let Forrest leave, this April 6th, Good Friday, hopefully to the arms of my Savior to place gently on a "reserved" windowsill to the Universe of my future heavenly home where we can meet again.

A few days later......
P.S. We received a "sympathy" card from the Vet....along with the over $800.00 it cost us for an x-Ray and Termination plus cremation". In a 19 year old cat why did it take a Specialist to read the x-ray!? I tore up the sympathy card. By the way, Forrest was PRICELESS to us and a very real HONOR to live with but we are on a "fixed income".....
