ANSWER: You won't! Most people are self-focused & self-bound.
"The intelligent person is the one that "agrees" with you!" thinking. I know I slip, unintentionally, into that many times and
have to bring myself back to reality by conscious choice to what I know is right for me.
They say "you can't teach an old dog a new trick" but I beg to differ about that. Whether a curse or not...I seem to always see BOTH sides and it ends up as if I am straddling the fence.(By the way, that IS a very uncomfortable thing to do!) I have finally decided what it is NOT, tho. It is NOT a "weakness" of character
but a "gift" that allows me much more understanding of the human species from either a behavioral perspective, biological
"nurture vs. nature" position including cultural variables.
As far as age goes with how "wise" you get...sorry to dispel that myth right now. There are a LOT of ignorant, close-minded, "My way or the Highway" old people!! Muhammed Ali once said that "if you are the same person at 50 that you were at 20 you have wasted 30 years!" That is true and wise. We end up, IF we are lucky enough to live that long...with the realization we are,
in reality, a number of people through out life. Baby, Toddler,Pre-Teen, dreaded(?) TEENAGER, Young Adult,,etc.etc. until we become grumpy old farts! (Many body sounds,actually) creaky!
As a teenager of the late 50's...and it WAS a simpler time,folks,
than today. Even WITH abusive childhood, it STILL was simpler
than today. GOOD Grief! At least we knew if we were a BOY or a
GIRL! (Inside ourselves, we did not understand why, tho, that there could be effeminate men or women called "tomboys"that
were teased or bullied. Education and Science has helped enormously in this area; that is, if we have learned the facts.
TWICE during the 9 month gestation period we receive a
dose of three hormones: Estrogen, Androgen and Testosterone.
BOTH sexes get these SAME hormones but in different amounts.
Estrogen is the female hormone, Androgen is the male hormone and Testosterone BOTH sexes also get. (I called it our "Soup recipe" for Male & Female) A boy that got too much Estrogen was more effeminate in walk,actions,etc. and a girl that gets too much
Testosterone can be more "boyish" in dress, sports,etc.
The issue of Homosexuality STILL undecided between "Nature and Nurture" or a combination of both. There is nothing WRONG with that person and nothing that more TOLERANCE & EDUCATION
wouldn't help us ALL. We are NOT put on this earth to JUDGE others...even GOD does not judge us until after death. GOD is LOVE.
Humans have LOVE as well as HATE in us. THAT is what we can self-judge on earth for OURSELVES.
This message is also meant for others, also. The Minority that have been hurt by this intolerance need to LET IT GO, TOO!
Fighting "fire with fire just causes more pain". P.S. I got everything I wanted as a WOMAN without wearing a Vagina
on my head and emasculating MEN! Women have lost something VERY special when they feel they have to crush men to feel better about themselves. SAD.
If it bothers you to take advice from an "Older Woman"...ask yourself WHY?
