Tuna Divine for Whiskers

I made your favorite dish today...
Ingredients all ready,
I thought I saw you by my side
As I held the knife quite steady.

The bag of Chips all signaled "soon"
Crushed and added to the bowl,
Whiskers knew the next step was
For him and him alone.

He heard the whir the opener made
Two cans of Tuna showed its meat,
My old friend just came alive
So anxious for his "TunaTreat".

He would eat his fill, then settle down
Into a nap sublime,
Until the next time I would make
My "Tuna Casserole Divine!"

I miss you SO much.
