ARE YOU A T.E.N.?
"Good, Bad & the Ugly". Delete or keep reading...
I. DIRTY TALK
I have found that men, actually GETTING a lot of "Action", so to speak, rarely make it apparent...they don't HAVE to...they are getting it
pretty easy and fairly often; some even with the wife's knowledge.
Only those with lower self-esteem or "T.E.N." issues (Terminal Ego Needs) who grade attractiveness on a scale! If you have to TALK about it
chances are you are not "connecting physically".
O.K., women...equal time here. Those women who have to "SHOW" and brag of conquests won...fit this category,too.
II. GENDER DOUBLE-STANDARD
Yes, people, it still exists...talk as hard as we want about this "In-equality" it is Alive & Well in 2016. Many more Men are put to death in
our prisons for the same EXACT crime than women are; check it out.
Women WILL "use" the strange power we have as women even if we
label ourselves Progressive IF it is something we want BAD enough.
Women fight dirtier than men...their mouths can shred a man quicker than a fist. Women of the 50's got pretty much everything they wanted
from men (even without SEX as the too easy lure) They didn't need a
label ("Feminist") to intimidate men.
III. GENDER EQUALITY
Women trying "to BE" Men are frustrating to me because I think
Generally speaking, we ARE
more empathetic, nurturing, perceptive intuitively; have more endurance & stress skills (NOT meaning Navy Seal here).
Women trying "to BE" Men have actually won. We are now equal to men dying from tobacco use, Heart & Stress issues & Personality Disorders. Whoopee.
I have always felt "Equal pay for Equal Work" as long as it doesn't
have to be watered down in effectiveness. Actually, also, equal pay for equal Play, too. In sports,etc.
IV. PARENTING
I believe men are vital for things they bring to a child's life.
The child needs the incredible qualities that BOTH contribute.
I would have been lost without the beautiful loving Father I had
with the chaos of my childhood. He taught me Honesty, selfless love
for his children and the only real security I experienced.
Single Mothers and single Fathers have to deal with "balance" in
an "unbalanced" situation because of the love of their child.
V. BOTTOM LINE (because it IS the bottom line) Until we can colonate
other worlds we are on THIS one together. WE are the ones who choose LOVE or HATE...choose wisely. Mrs.B.
